Teacher of Physical Education

We are looking for an inspiring individual who will relish the opportunity to teach Physical Education to our highly motivated students.

You should be a good Honours graduate, with a love of Physical Education and sport. This position offers either an exciting opportunity for someone wishing to establish their career in an intellectually stimulating environment or for an experienced teacher looking to develop their experience in a new school. The ability to offer an additional subject would be advantageous, but not essential.

All students take part in Physical Education in Years 7-11. Students may choose to study GCSE Physical Education and Sports, Exercise and Health Science is offered in the Sixth Form as part of the IB Diploma. The School has an excellent sporting tradition with high levels of participation in extra-curricular activities. Our sports teams are successful at local, regional and national levels.  

Students in Years 7–11 and in our co-ed sixth form become increasingly independent learners as they progress through the School and achieve excellent outcomes at GCSE and in the internationally recognised IB Diploma.  Experience of teaching the IB is not essential. Training will be offered as required.

The School offers an outstanding internationally minded education and an extensive professional development programme for all staff supporting; induction, leadership development and well-being.
