Information about the school

Brenzett CE Primary is in an exciting period of change; since September 2017 we have a new leadership team in place with, Iain Witts Executive Headteacher (Brenzett and Kingsnorth CEPs).

We are a very warm and welcoming school, where we have a Forest School set in amazing grounds. We have a dedicated staff team and we are able to meet the needs of our children and families by working in very close relationship with them. In July 2017 we achieved a ‘Good’ judgement for SIAMS and the school is rapidly improving thanks to our dedicated staff team. Our latest OFSTED inspection gave a judgement of 'GOOD' in July 2019.

In Autumn 2016 the school joined the Aquila (DCAT), enabling staff to access a range of exciting professional development including School to School support and leadership qualifications. We are part of the Aquila Coaching into Appraisal programme, providing every member of staff with a bespoke professional development programme to enhance their career at whatever stages they may be.

The school has a long history - it began in 1851 and moved to its new building in 2002, this has provided excellent accommodation for 5 classes as well as additional teaching space for intervention groups and a truly amazing outdoor environment which includes a pond area. We value our links with the local community, especially the local church, St Eanswith's.
