ADMINISTRATION ASSISTANT AND PA TO THE HEAD OF SCHOOL Maternity Cover - One Year

 

 

For April 2020 Shatterlocks Infant and Nursery School requires a competent secretary with commitment, enthusiasm, excellent interpersonal skills and a high level of organisational skills to work in a very busy office to cover maternity leave for a period of one year. Duties are wide ranging to provide administrative support to the staff; ensure that students records on SIMs are maintained; to produce letters and manage trips and policies and to support pupils as required.

 

Enthusiastic candidates are required and should hold with Mathematics and English to GCSE Grade C or equivalent (certificates will need to be shown at interview upon appointment) and secretarial/administrative qualifications would be desirable.

KR 04 £17,498 Full Time Equivalent

£14,813 pro rata to £17,498 FTE, 37 hours per week, 39 weeks, 44.1428 weeks per year includes holiday pay.

Shatterlocks Infant and Nursery School is a highly successful school. It benefits from modern buildings and is very well resourced with an outstanding staff. The school has up to 180 children in the main school and 52 children in the nursery.

Barton Junior school is a two-form entry Junior school (ages 7-11) in the heart of Dover. We provide our children with an excellent continuation of their education from infant school. Our aim is for every child to reach their full potential through creating a stimulating and caring environment that provides challenges and enjoyment, where children’s natural curiosity and wonder about the world around them is encouraged, where children will thrive.
