In this role, you will:

  • Provide advice to the members of Viking governance on constitutional and procedural governance matters.
  • Provide proactive and effective administrative support to the Trust Board and its committees.

You will be an individual who prides themselves on attention to detail with proven administrative experience. You will be able to work on your own initiative, manage deadlines and prepare accurate minutes. The successful applicant will have a genuine interest in school governance, keeping abreast with current educational developments and legislation affecting schools. Previous administrative or clerking experience in the education sector will be a distinct advantage. Support and training for the role are provided through the Trust and National Governance Association (NGA).

Our Trust and all its personnel are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils. The successful applicant will be subject to a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) disclosure and checks regarding proof of ID, medical clearance and the right to work in the UK.
