St Nicholas School is looking for a reliable, trustworthy, highly motivated and practical person to work alongside our Site Manager.  You will need to be confident and comfortable working within a school environment, have a full driving licence and be pro-active and flexible in your outlook.

Ideally you will be competent in vehicle and building maintenance, repairs and in-house small projects for this varied and energetic role.

Duties to include:

  • Operation of school vehicles
  • Caretaking duities 
  • Decorating and grounds work
  • Overseeing contractors on site when required
  • Some knowledge of multi-trade tasks - carpentry, plumbing etc
  • Maintenance of hydro - after training

This is full time permanent position working 37 hours per week 8 am - 3.30 pm Monday - Thursday and 8 am - 3 pm on Fridays.  You will also be required to work alternate Saturdays as overtime.  Some flexibility in hours may be required on occassion to meet the needs of the school and to cover annual leave and sickness.  This will provide the opportunity to work some addtional hours.
