St. Michael’s RC Primary School has a vacancy for a teaching assistant who can support our children in their teaching and learning as well as working alongside our class teachers to ensure the best outcomes for our children.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:

  • Excellent practice working with groups of children, individual children or whole classes under the direction of the teacher
  • High expectations and a commitment to providing the best possible education for some of our most vulnerable children
  • The ability to be flexible, dynamic, enjoy a challenge, be good at thinking on your feet and well organised
  • Be driven and ambitious for the learners, the school and on a personal level

St Michaels RC Primary School is a two form entry school in Medway, with 452 pupils on roll. We were rated Good by Ofsted in November 2019. Our Catholic ethos is central to all that we do, we promote our school CIRCLE values which are in keeping with our distinct catholic nature. We have a strong inclusive and supportive ethos.
