The Role

We are looking for an experienced Premises Manager to provide leadership and management of the academy’s site and cleaning team. As Premises Manager, you will provide site development and management for the academy and ensure that the premises are cleaned, maintained and compliant to the approved specifications. You will have overall responsibility for the security and health and safety of the site, ensuring a safe environment for all users. You will also work closely with the Trust Estates Manager to plan sustainable and cost effective budgets.

This role is 37 hours per week, all year round. Flexibility to ensure cover from 6.30am to 6.00pm, in conjunction with the rest of the site team, is essential.

The High Weald Academy

The High Weald Academy is a small rural school based in Cranbrook in Kent, and serves a widespread rural community. The Academy provides an education for students of all abilities and is focused on ensuring that everyone is able to learn, achieve and flourish. Our vision is simple – to ensure that all of our students achieve beyond our expectations and flourish as confident learners with the highest aspirations, ready for the university or careers of their choice and also ready for the world in which they will work and live.

Information about the school
