Advert

We have an opening for a Qualified Practitioner and are looking for somebody with a passion and enthusiasm for early years education.

We have a strong focus on how the children learn and use the Characteristics of Effective Learning as our basis for observation, planning and assessment. The learning is predominantly child-led, we are looking for a practitioner able to observe and respond to children ‘in the moment’.

The successful candidate:

  • must have an Early Years Qualification (ideally Level 3 or above)
  • has relevant experience delivering the EYFS framework within a pre-school setting
  • has a secure knowledge of child development
  • is keen to develop their skills and knowledge
  • works well as part of a small team

Responsibilities include:

  • acting as Key Person to a group of children; observing, analysing and recording their development and liaising with their parents/carers
  • contributing to the provision of a stimulating environment, enhancing resources in line with individual needs

All positions are subject to an enhanced DBS Check.

For more information about the role, please contact Janet & Hattie.

Information about the school

Bradbourne Park Pre-school is located in the scenic grounds of Sevenoaks Primary School in a large building with secure outdoor space which we use all year round.

We aim to encourage creativity, independence, resilience and the desire to learn through constructive child-led play. We have a strong focus on how rather than what the children are learning and aim to provide an environment in which experiences respond to individual needs and interests.
