We are looking to appoint a passionate, dedicated leader who can support the school in continuing to offer the very best education for all our pupils.

The post is to lead on SEN but also to be Assistant Headteacher, providing a range of support to staff across the school and in particular in the Headteachers absence.

The post would be ideal for a current leader who wishes to reduce their hours or for someone wanting to move into leadership.

The post would be for 3 days per week - days are negotiable but applicants should be flexible.

Previous SEN experience desireable but not essential as training can be given to the right candidate.

We would be very happy to discuss the post further and would encourage visits to the school to meet the fabulous staff and children.

Selsted Church of England Primary School is a small, rural, church school situated between Folkestone and Canterbury.

With around 105 children, we are a very small school and pride ourselves on our close knit and caring personal approach to work with each other. Our excellent staff are well supported by parents and the governing body. We strive to enrich the curriculum through creative teaching and learning opportunities, including using the local environment. The school seeks to provide a nurturing environment that supports pupils to gain a love for learning.
