Folkestone Academy (Secondary Phase) is looking to recruit a Student Welfare Officer to ensure the effective management of the day-to-day health and wellbeing needs of students.

The role will include:

  • Being responsible for liaising with external agencies;
  • Being responsible for ensuring staff are up to date with relevant training courses in first aid, health and safety and matters relating to students with medical needs;
  • Ensuring the duties relating to health and wellbeing of all students are met;
  • Being responsible for the secure storage and administration of all medicines in the Academy;
  • Liaising with the SENDCo and parents/carers of students with medical needs;
  • Being responsible for ensuring that the Management Information System is kept up to date.

Term Time + 2 weeks (including INSET days)

37 hours a week

Salary: Academy Range 06/07 dependant on experience - (£17,354 min  - £22,206 max pro rata)
