There has never been a better time to join Aylesham Primary School. This is a very exciting time for our school, as we embark on a journey of positive change and growth.
Due to the expansion and success of our school, we have fantastic opportunities for Teaching Assistants to join our team of already established, dynamic and professional practitioners who strive for greatness and enhance the performance of our pupils.
We are seeking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant to work as general classroom based support. Although this post is a temporary position, there may be a possibility for a permanent post in the next academic year.

Experience of working with children is vital and you must be resilient, empathetic, patient, flexible, enthusiastic and willing to learn new skills.
We are a values led school. The applicant must be willing to adhere to and model our values: Resilience, Creativity, Teamwork and Flying high (see our website for more details).
We are a warm and friendly primary school with a strong, supportive and committed staff team. We offer a highly supportive and dedicated Leadership Team set in a fantastic working environment. Aylesham Primary School is committed to recruiting with care in order to safeguard the welfare of pupils. We expect all staff and volunteers to share that commitment. Aylesham Primary School is a 'Good' school in all areas following an OfSTED Inspection in December 2017.
We have a warm, friendly and supportive team who work alongside enthusiastic children with a desire to learn.
We are a two-form entry primary school in the heart of the Kent countryside, six miles south of Canterbury and serving Aylesham and the surrounding villages.
For many years pupil roll numbers dictated a class structure of one class per year group. From September 2015 we started opening additional classes and we are continuing to expand. Pupil roll numbers continue to steadily increase mainly due to the expansion of Aylesham village which commenced in summer 2014.
The school was a part of the Governments Priority Schools Building Programme (PSBP) and moved into a brand new building with state of the art facilities in September 2017.
