Following the successful external promotion of the current post holder we are seeking to appoint a Finance Officer to assist the School Business Manager in providing an efficient, prompt and secure financial service to the school.  Previous experience of school finance would be advantageous, but is not essential.  The school uses FMS software and training will be provided, if required.  The successful application will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of purchase invoices, reconciling to supplier statements.  Other duties will include receive and record monies from other schools, students and parents/carers, as well as undertaking other support duties such as assisting reception, dealing with correspondence, filing and word processing.  This post is based in Goldwyn Ashford. 

Salary: A competitive salary will be offered for this post, negotiable dependent upon experience /qualifications. This post is for 30 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus staff development days). The hours of work are negotiable but is for 5 days per week.
