We are a large primary school with approximately 800 pupils.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced and efficient Administrative Assistant to join our busy and friendly Inclusion Team.
The main responsibility of the Inclusion Administrative Assistant will be to provide administrative and organisational support primarily to the FLO, Safeguarding Officer and Deputy Headteacher to increase parental engagement and provide a safe environment for our pupils.
The position is for 20 hours per week, 12.00pm to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time only plus 5 INSET days). The pay scale is set at Kent Range 4 (£17,498 for a full-time position) which equates to approximately £8,007 per annum pro rata for this role.
We require a good standard of general education and GCSE qualifications (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at Grade C or above. Verification of qualifications declared on the application form will be required before employment can commence so please do not declare any qualifications unless you can produce the original certificate.
There will be a thirty minute formal interview with a Deputy Headteacher and the Business Manager and a thirty minute in-tray exercise. Prior to interview there will also be a thirty minute tour of the school with the Safeguarding Officer.

We work closely within our trust to improve all aspects of our practice, including CPD and support for NQTs. We are also proud to be part of a Federation between our school and Parkside Community Primary School in Canterbury.
Our large site comprises of a KS2 and a KS1 building, three large playgrounds and a school field and we continue to invest heavily in our outdoor learning environment which includes an inclusive play area and sports courts.
