School Direct- Teacher training opportunities Sept 2020

The Langton Schools’ Alliance has vacancies for graduates to train to be primary and secondary teachers through the School Direct pathway from Sept 2019. This is a hands on, practical school based teacher training route in partnership with Canterbury Christchurch University.

The School Direct training programme will allow you to qualify as a teacher (QTS) and there is an option to add on the PGCE element.

Financial support

Information about the school

Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School is a highly respected selective Voluntary Controlled Girls’ Grammar School that places students’ academic success on a par with their wellbeing, creating a unique learning community where every individual matters. Students attending the school are aged between 11-18 years and the school has a student roll of about 1,100 students (with approx. 260 pupils in our mixed Sixth Form).
