Fosse Bank Early Years is part of our vibrant school set in beautiful grounds and building.

We are seeking to employ an energetic and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our team working with children aged two to four. We are passionate about providing the children with rich learning experiences as a foundation for life-long learning. Our facilities include three pre-school rooms, forest school, a yurt, woodland, garden and swimming pool.

This post is full time role and you would work over four or five days with children, based on a 40 hour working week with four weeks annual leave.

Holiday club runs in the school holidays for children aged two to eleven. Your role will be to be part of the team offering consistent care for the Early Years children who attend all year round.  Also being flexible to help with activities for primary aged children.

We are seeking a level 3 or level 2 practitioner. Your primary role will be that of a key person, to build positive relationships with a small group of children, their family and colleagues. You will have some experience in planning for learning within the Early Years Foundation Stage and a passion and commitment for delivering high quality practice.

A sound knowledge of health, safety and wellbeing of the children is essential. Training will be provided.

Able to be honest and tactful with parents, appreciating their concerns and working with them in partnership to support children’s learning.

You will be expected to undertake a criminal record disclosure checks in accordance with the EYFS Statutory Framework 2017, prior to employment.

Fosse Bank is a single-form-entry independent primary school for pupils aged 2 to 11. The school is in a beautiful Grade II listed building surrounded by 28 acres of parkland and woodland with a range of wonderful facilities.
