Person Specification and Qualifications
Applications will be welcomed from those with a Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification and experience in an early years setting. The successful candidate will have a commitment to providing a high standard of care to children together with a conscientious and willing approach.
Terms and Conditions
The role reports to the Nursery Manager. The hours of work will be 40 hours per week. This is based on a four day shift pattern of an early 7.15am - 5.15pm, late 8.30am - 6.30pm and middle shifts 8.00am - 6.00pm. Your remuneration will be £18,408.00 per annum and includes an allowance for the equivalent of 4 weeks paid annual leave plus Bank Holidays. At busy times you may be asked to work additional paid hours. The Nursery pension scheme is available.

The Nursery, which has a maximum capacity of 109 children, is set in an attractive Victorian building, on Pelham Road, Gravesend. On the ground and first floors, there are 5 children’s rooms, all recently fully refurbished, together with a hall/dining area, the nursery office and the manager’s office. On the second floor, there is a staff room and a meeting room. Outdoors, there is pleasant garden and play space.
