1:1 Teaching Assistant

Start Date: ASAP

Temporary until: 31st August 2020 but may be extended

Job Grade: Kent Range 3: £17,365 - £17,411 p.a.

Salary:        Starting salary £11,727 - £11,758 p.a. (pro-rata)

Hours:         30 hours per week / 38 weeks per year (term time only)

                   8.30am-3.15pm Monday-Friday

We are seeking to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of an individual pupil diagnosed with special educational needs to enable him/her to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them.  

Applicants must have a good standard of education together with good numeracy and literacy skills and/or an NVQ or equivalent related to the post. Training in Team Teach would be desirable.

Experience of working with children is vital and you must be resilient, empathetic, patient, enthusiastic, flexible and willing to learn new skills.
