Site Premises Manager

KR6 £20,222 starting salary

Our wonderful Site Premises Manager is retiring at Christmas and so an opportunity has arisen at Shears Green Junior for a new Site Premises Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will need to be flexible, well organised and willing to become part of a friendly, welcoming workforce, which supports the needs of each child within the school.

The successful candidate will work from 6.00am to 1.30pm Monday – Thursday and 6.00am to 1.00pm Friday. This post is on a 52 week per year contract (25 days paid leave and bank holidays). There is an expectation that this holiday is taken during school closure wherever possible.

The key purpose of the Site Premises Manager is to ensure that the premises are safe, secure and maintained to a high standard.

Previous experience as a member of a site team is not essential as training will be provided. However, candidates should be able to:

  • Use their initiative to respond to a range of challenges
  • Balance their workload, prioritising tasks and organising their time effectively
  • Liaise with contractors
  • Work independently as well as part of a team
