We are looking for a lively and enthusiastic After School Club Manager to work in our after school club. The successful applicant will be required to work 15 hours per week (3.00pm – 6.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only). The salary will be Kent Range 6 £19,864 - £21,789 full time equivalent (£6,641 - £7,285 pro rata).

This may be combined with a Teaching Assistant role at Kent Range 3 from 12.00pm - 3.00pm Monday to Friday, term time only.

The successful candidate will be expected to:

  • Be experienced working in an after school setting and managing within an organisation (essential)
  • Be someone who enjoys working with children
  • Have relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 Award in Food Safety, NVQ3 in Learning Support/ Level 3 Teaching Assistant, NNEB) or relevant experience
  • Be a good team player, flexible and prepared to use their initiative
  • Be committed to their own professional development
  • Be imaginative, creative, very energetic and interested in providing a nurturing after school setting
  • Have good interpersonal skills
  • Have good organisational skills

Information about the school

Set on the edge of the beautiful Knole Park Estate in Sevenoaks, Lady Boswell’s Primary School has a strong sense of history, having been established in 1675. We are a Christian school which provides a safe and happy haven that allows every child to develop and learn in a kind and caring environment whilst achieving the highest academic standards.

Although established in 1675, our building is much newer, with the latest part completed around 2013.
