We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging member of staff to join our team as an After School Club Supervisor.

The role will involve the safeguarding and supervision of the pupils who attend our after school club. Responsibilities will also include the preparation of food and active engagment in planned activities. 

The role will involve working 15 hours a week, term time only:

3pm - 6pm Monday - Friday

The role will be paid as KR3

The role will involve:

  • Supporting the day to day running of the club.
  • Engaging in and supervising child friendly activities.
  • Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Ordering and preparing food.
  • Supervising and liaising with other staff.

The ideal candidate should have the following, but we would provide training for the right candidate:

  • A minimum of NVQ Level 3 qualification in a child based setting.
  • A Paediatric First Aid Certificate or willingness to take the training.
  • Experience of supervising children
  • An understadning of/ training in:-
    • Child Protection
    • Health & Safety/Risk Assessment
    • Food Hygiene level 2
    • Behaviour  Management

Downsview Community Primary School is an open, inclusive and welcoming school set in a semi-rural location in Swanley. We are a one form entry school with classes from Reception to Year 6. We are fortunate to be set in extensive grounds with lots of opportunities for outdoor learning and recreation.
