The Ebbsfleet Academy are offering a rare opportunity to join their committed support staff as Head of Academy Administration.   We are a growing 11 – 18 academy with a highly talented team dedicated to the success of every child, every day. The successful candidate will lead the administration team and provide support to the leadership team contributing to the smooth running of the school. 

This role is full time, all year round, and the salary for this post is Kent Range 9, (£28,925 - £32,917 pa), DOE, plus an additional responsibility payment of £2,000 as the lead co-ordinator of educational visits.          

The purpose of this role is to deploy, direct and coach the administrative support team, ensuring that deadlines are met and that all documents are of a high quality and in house style.  You will support the leadership team including the provision of PA services to the Principal of The Ebbsfleet Academy. You will be involved in organising events, school admissions, educational visits and be the key link between the Academy and the Brook Learning Trust liaising with the central trust team around recruitment, marketing and governance.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team of administrators and will have a robust knowledge of the particular demands imposed on an administrative team in an education setting.  They will have managed projects or events, for example open evenings, to successful outcomes and will be able to adapt their working style to suit a variety of stakeholders.  A working knowledge of academic software and processes, such as SIMs and excellent excel skills would be a distinct advantage.
