Midday Meals Supervisor – St John’s CE Infant School

Location               St John’s CE Infant School, 4 New Street, Chatham, Kent

Hours                   6 hours 15 minutes per week (1 hour 15minutes per day)                                   (1.50 am – 1.05 pm)  t erm time only.  Temporary contract for 1 year.

We are a small school in the centre of Chatham, and a founder member of the Medway Anglican Schools Trust.

We require a midday meal supervisor to start September 2019.  This is a temporary contract for 1 year.

Duties:

  • Support the children while they eat their lunch (encouraging use of cutlery and appropriate table manners)
  • Supervise the children during their playtime leading and encouraging developmental play and activities.
  • Encourage the children to follow the Christian values of the school.
  • Experience of working with young children is desired but not necessary. As we are a small school we pride ourselves on our teamwork and appreciate that every adult working school has an important part to play in the daily life of the school and therefore that of the children.
  • All members of staff must be willing to undertake training.
