Hours – 32.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year

The Abbey school is looking to appoint a full time Lower School Support Coordinator to start at the beginning of the new academic year. The successful candidate will be required to build up positive relationships with students, parents and staff ensuring any enquiries are addressed quickly, and that all records are accurate.

The post will involve working with the Head of Year, Lower School manager, Assistant Headteacher and other staff in providing pastoral support and guidance for pupils within the Key Stage.  To support the Head of Year/Lower School manager with their school responsibility.

Previous experience of working with secondary school students would be an advantage but is not essential. Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, balancing a calm manner, high expectations and genuine care for students. 

Additionally, experience in using databases, confidence in using excel, and other data storage and data analysis tools would be desirable, as part of the role will involve recording data, and providing data for the team.
