Advert

The Abbey School is looking to appoint a part time Clerk to the Governors to start at the beginning of the new academic year September 2019. The successful candidate will be a highly organised and efficient person who is computer literate and confident using email as a form of communication. Previous experience of Clerking would be preferred, but experience of working in a role where accuracy in recording meetings is essential.

The role involves clerking for four Full Governing Body meetings, three Resources Committee meetings and one Audit Committee meeting over the course of the year.

With attendance at the meetings, preparation and follow up work, we anticipate this role needs someone able to commit approximately 190 hours a year.

Our meetings are currently held either late afternoon (4.30pm – 6.30pm) or early evening (6.00pm – 8.00pm).
