This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding school. We are seeking an inspiring and committed Teaching Assistant who will specialise in the transitioning of Year 6 students into the school.
Broomhill Bank School is not just a place to teach, but to educate. Through a whole school holistic approach, we focus on both academic and wider skills to prepare and develop every child for their life ahead.
Our students are aged 11-19 years and all have an Education, Health & Care Plan; they have communication and interaction difficulties, often related to Autism. With class sizes of 10 and with additional adult support, we tailor our curriculum and classroom delivery to every student’s individual needs. Our students make good progress thanks to the high-quality teaching and because we are a multi-agency team working alongside our Speech & Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Pastoral Team and Residential Team.
We welcome Teaching Assistants at any stage of their career, from mainstream or special education as we provide a programme of specialist training for all new members of staff, in addition to our ongoing CPD programme.
Broomhill Bank School is committed to recruiting talented, highly skilled Teaching Assistants.
