We are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the children and to enable them to make the best use of the educational opportunities available at St. Ethelbert’s. This will be as a class based teaching assistant.
Applicants must be able to support the Catholic life and ethos of the school, have good numeracy and literacy skills and/or an NVQ or equivalent related to the post. Experience of working with children is vital.

The position is for 28.75 hours per week for 38 weeks. 30 minutes lunch time supervision is included in the hours. KR3 pro rata full time equivalent.

St Ethelbert’s Catholic Primary School is a one form entry primary and nursery school set in the heart of Ramsgate, Kent. The school was built in 1928. St. Ethelbert’s is a successful and happy school combining excellence and care. The school had its last Ofsted Inspection in July 2015 and is ‘Good’, with ‘Outstanding behaviour and safeguarding’. It also has ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ in its Religious Inspection, also in July 2015.
