Class Teacher / Phonics Leader: MPS/UPS + TLR 2b (£4700)

The Role (includes):

  • Class Teacher, EYFS or KS1 based, working closely as a team with year group partners.
  • Non-class/group based daily during Read, Write, Inc hour to support, challenge and develop others
  • Leading phonics (Read, Write, Inc) across EYFS and KS1 including overseeing assessments.
  • Weekly leadership release time.
  • Excellent Opportunities for CPD including in house and external.  Potential courses, qualifications and more tailored to you.

The Person (must have):

  • Strong teaching and learning skills.
  • Ability to support, challenge and develop others.
  • Experience in EYFS or KS1.
  • Good phonics skills.  Whilst experience of Read, Write, Inc may be beneficial, a full induction programme including external support would allow transition into role without necessarily having experience of Read, Write, Inc.
