The governors are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, creative, enthusiastic teacher to join our team of dedicated staff.

If you have shown that you are innovative and inspiring and believe in the benefits of learning both in and out of the classroom; are willing to contribute your ideas, your time and commitment to the whole school we would like to meet you.

We are looking for someone who has high personal and professional standards; who will be a role model for all. They will have a robust understanding of how children learn plus the ability to provide challenge leading to mastery across the curriculum for all pupils in their care. They will have developed effective classroom management skills, with a proven record of excellence leading to exceptional pupil progress and well-being. This will be underpinned by excellent working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

The right person will have the ability to use their own initiative whilst being committed to working as part of a team. A passion and desire, match by professional knowledge, to influence the teaching of maths across the whole school would be an advantage.

Information about the school

Aldington Primary School is a single form entry school located in the expanding village of Aldington. We have 190 pupils taught across 7 classes; providing a engaging, adventurous, learning journey for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years.

We have an excellent team of enthusiastic and dedicated teachers, support staff and governors. We work closely with our parents and community to provide quality education and exciting learning opportunities.

The school site is a picturesque one with many outdoor learning opportunities, including our own Forest School area. We also access many of the local areas of natural beauty to enhance our children’s learning.

Our 'Nurture and Challenge' approach to learning provides all children to thrive and become enthusiastic about learning whilst striving to be the best they can be.
