Advert

We are seeking to appoint a talented, creative and innovative thinker to our middle leadership team who will be instrumental in leading the development of the Science and Land Studies Curriculum. The person appointed should have the ability to lead, inspire and support a team of science and land studies teachers and teaching assistants in developing effective classroom practice. It is clear that the successful candidate will have to be an outstanding classroom practitioner themselves. This vacancy results from the retirement of the previous excellent practitioner.

The successful candidate should have a clear understanding about effective teaching and learning, curriculum development, raising and sustaining achievement, and the care and support of students with a range of SEND. They should have a vision and a drive to deliver meaningful and personalised curricula to provide stretch and challenge enabling all students to achieve.

They should be a good communicator, able to engage effectively with students, parents/carers and able to lead a team of staff. Ideally, they should have experience of supporting students with SEND.

If you are a quality leader willing to take our excellent and happy team of staff to the next level and able to further Bradfields as a well-known and respected Special Academy then you should consider applying for this position.

The successful candidate will be provided with individualised professional support and induction; including accessing further professional qualifications as required.

We would encourage interested applicants to arrange a visit to our academy as we are confident that such an opportunity will convince them that they would really love to work at Bradfields!

Staff at Bradfields have access to the Fortis Trust package of benefits, which includes a wide range of professional development opportunities, and wellbeing support. Staff can also join the cycle to work scheme and have full access to our Employee Assistance Programme and all its benefits.
