The Gravesham District Specialist Teaching and Learning Service is managed by Ifield School. The service is seeking to appoint two Specialist Teachers for 6 days a week, to work together to meet the increasing number of children with additional needs. It is anticipated that each teacher would work 3 days per week but a 4 day/2 day split could also be considered. This is a fixed term contract until 31.08.2020, subject to review.

The successful candidates will be experienced teachers,  able to provide specialist teaching expertise and advice for pupils with special educational needs in Early Years settings in Gravesham.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic team working with children and young people with SEND within the Gravesham area. The Specialist Teaching and Learning Service is committed to promoting equal opportunities and reducing barriers for pupils with additional educational needs. They support the development and implementation of policies and approaches to promote inclusion through early intervention and effective support to ensure the best outcomes for children and young people.
