The Riverside Federation in East Sussex, was established in 2016 between Bodiam CE Primary School and Etchingham CE Primary School, following a successful partnership that began in 2010.

The Governors of the Riverside Federation are seeking the right person to be our Executive Headteacher.

Our Federation also works closely with four other small primary schools in the area and this is known as the Battle Outlying Small Schools (BOSS) Cluster.

Our schools are rated Ofsted ‘good’ and SIAMS ‘outstanding’, providing a solid foundation for a new leader to build on.

Our new Executive Headteacher will bring their own style to:

 - Lead both schools to consolidate ‘good’ and move to ‘outstanding’
 - Strengthen ties with the local community 
 - Work in partnership with governors, parents and staff
 - Reinforce partnerships with our collaboration schools
 - Stay at the forefront of educational development
