Advert

Palace Wood is a school that has been on a journey. This journey reached one of its milestones in July when Ofsted graded the school as good. We have now begun the next part of our journey and have a vacancy for someone to join our team to help us on our way.

We are looking for a teacher to join us to inspire our children to achieve their potential. Our team of dedicated and enthusiastic staff will work with you to help you get the best out of our children.

Our children have developed a love of learning, and embrace challenge, and they are looking for a teacher who can provide them with this challenge. In return, they will strive to reach and go beyond your expectations. They want someone who can plan and deliver inspirational lessons which spark their imagination and encourage their creativity.

However, we don't believe that learning should just be for children, and we will be able to support you through your career development with a CPD programme that is specific to your needs. Your wellbeing is important to us, and we will help you to strike the right balance whilst still providing the best for your children.

As part of the interview process if shortlisted, you will be observed working with children, and so a visit to the school to gain an understanding of our ethos and practice is advised (contact office@palacewood.kent.sch.uk should you want a visit).

Palace Wood Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In order to ensure the ongoing safety of our children, applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including reference checks with previous employers, a 'Right to Work' in the UK check and an enhanced DBS check.
