A position has become available to support a pupil in Key Stage 2, who requires additional support to access the curriculum fully. This position is for one afternoon a week, with the aim of leading to increased support throughout the week.. The successful applicant will have worked in Key Stage 2, and have supported pupils in guided reading, phonics and mathematics. They will also have previous knowledge of supporting pupils with additional needs. It will be a benefit if the candidate has previous experience of working with a complex medical condition and speech and language difficulties.

St Marys School is a friendly and popular C of E Primary School in the St Mary’s ward of Swanley. We have strong links with both the local church, St Mary the Virgin, and the wider community. We have a one form entry across the school, as well as a successful LEA nursery attached, which takes children from the age of 2. Our staff are highly motivated and hard working, setting high standards for the 300 pupils in their care. Our results at the end of Key Stage 2 are often above the national average, and this is reflective of how hard working and professional our staff are.
