Are you looking for a challenge and able to support/encourage our wonderful SEND children to achieve their full potential in a class room setting?

Our school needs caring and enthusiastic staff to support the children at lunchtimes (both temporary and permanent) alongside dynamic Teaching Assistants.

Midday Supervisors – We are looking for flexible people to bring enthusiasm to the school team. Main duties include feeding pupils, supervising tables and supporting the pupils at play. It is a physical job (using slings and hoists). Daily duties involve manual handling and using Team-Teach strategies (which you will be trained for).  You need to be conscientious, reliable, hard-working, and be able to work on your own initiative as well as being able to support the team.  The pupils are amazing and will give you a sense of achievement with all of the progress they make.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Offers of employment are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and other employment checks. This post is considered to be a customer-facing position; as such it falls within scope of the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.  The school therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016 to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the person specification. These will be applied during the recruitment/selection and probationary stages. References will be requested for those short listed ONLY and prior to interview.  Only those shortlisted for interview will be contacted.
