Based at Goldwyn Sixth Form College

We are looking for a motivated, inspiring and dedicated classroom practitioner to coordinate and undertake the planning, delivery and teaching of English and Maths Functional Skills to learners aged 16+ with SEMH needs, across their sites at Ashford and Folkestone. The role will involve teaching small groups and working one-to-one with students.  Additionally to support liaison and promotion of college provision and assist learners in their preparation for adulthood. 

Goldwyn Sixth Form College which is an independent special post 16 provider for students with EHCPs. Currently courses on offer at the College are Construction, Motor Mechanics, English and Maths GCSE

The post holder will have input into the overall development of Literacy and Numeracy across the vocational programmes offered, working with vocational tutors to develop assessment and planning.  They will also provide supplementary support to the leadership within a small team.
