Whinless Down Academy would like to appoint energetic, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants to join us here at Priory Fields School.
The position involves working in partnership with class teachers and other teaching assistants, as part of a Key Stage team, to achieve best outcomes for pupils. The successful applicants are likely to work in one of our Key Stage 1 classes, but there could be some flexibility for the right candidate. Work involves supporting pupils' learning, both individually and in group situations and includes supervising playtimes and lunchtimes. We can offer a welcoming and friendly team, bespoke professional development opportunities and fantastic children who are thoroughly rewarding to work with.
The successful applicant will have a good standard of education with a minimum requirement of English and Mathematics at GCSE (C) or equivalent.
Hours are 8:30 to 3:30 Mon - Friday (with one day to 5pm). Term Time only.
