Alongside this is managing some paperwork, policies and procedures and dealing direct with parents. A vision for the further development of the area and a partnership approach to working with our grounds staff would be an advantage.

We are looking for ideally a Forest School qualified applicant, preferably through Earthcraftuk.com. We would like you to be able to start in late January to work alongside our current member of staff for a successful handover.

Candidates who can match some or all of the following will be at an advantage -

  • An educational qualification at Level 2 or above
  • A qualification at Level 2 in Woodland/Countryside (or similar) and two years' experience of working with a client group in an educational capacity
  • A portfolio of evidence working with children/ schools/ the local community.

The role is for two days per week, currently Thursday and Friday. Training is available for an exceptional candidate who is not qualified.

Prospective candidates should book a tour and allow approximately one hour for a meeting with our current leader.

KR3 (Full time equivalent= £15,628-17,188) Actual salary is £4180. Six hours per day for two days per week. 38 weeks per year (term time only).

This role is subject to an enhanced DBS (police check) and references being satisfactory. Compulsory completion of the school’s child protection and anti- radicalisation training are also part of any job offer.
