Temporary contract to start January 2019
Temporary contract until July 2019 with possibility of being extended if high needs funding continues to be received for the pupil
23 hours 20 mins per week
Monday – Friday 8.20am – 1.20pm
A 20 minute mid morning break is allowed for each day.
You will be paid for 39 working weeks per year. This includes 5 paid staff development days.
Support a Year 2 pupil in both structured and unstructured times at Great Chart School, who is currently in receipt of High Needs Funding
Support the class teacher in the teaching and welfare of children to ensure they attain the targets set under their SEN Support Plan.
To share in the corporate responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils. Ability to maintain confidentiality essential.
To assist with the personal care of pupils, ensuring pupils are treated with dignity and respect eg toileting needs, medical needs.

Great Chart is a popular oversubscribed Group 4 primary school on a beautiful site with just under 500 pupils aged 4-11 on roll. The school is modern and well-resourced on the edge of Ashford with excellent teaching facilities, motivated children and very supportive staff, governors and parents. The school is two-form entry but 3 form in 2 year groups - 16 classes overall.
