Seal has an exciting opportunity for a skilled, highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a child with ASD and SPD in Reception, commencing as soon as possible. The post offered is a full time temporary contract, initially for one year. Hours of work will be 8:30am to 3:30pm. The position is paid at KR3.
Due to the complex needs of the child, previous experience of supporting pupils with ASD is essential. The role will be shared with another TA, supporting the child in Reception or supporting in a Year 3 class. Part of the role will require the implementation of intimate care. The pupil will also require support at lunchtimes, this duty will also be shared with another TA. Recent experience of planning and delivering interventions is desirable.
