St Margaret’s Collier Street Primary School is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our successful Key-Stage 2 team. We are a caring school providing the perfect environment where pupils flourish and are well prepared for secondary school. Children are well-behaved, polite, enthusiastic and keen to be inspired to make progress in their learning.

The position includes covering some PPA time across the 2 classes in Key-Stage 2 and therefore the candidate will ideally have experience within this age group. Candidates should have good levels of literacy and numeracy.

This position is for a minimum of 15 hours per week, term time only. This is initially a fixed term contract until July 2019.

St Margaret’s, Collier Street is a small and welcoming Church of England village school which is ideally situated between Maidstone and Tonbridge. Our children, of which there are currently 124, are polite and love to learn. Our latest OFSTED report in May 2022 remarked that 'there is a strong culture of personal and professional support among staff'.

We are very well resourced and have a purpose built children's kitchen, additional teaching rooms as well as very spacious grounds. We offer a friendly school which maintains close links with the church and where everyone works together for the benefit of every pupil. We have very supportive parents and an active PTA.
