Senior Examinations Officer

Required for January 2019 (Immediate start would be possible )

 

 

Salary range £21790 to £28412 per annum pro rata

 

37 Hours per week. This post will be offered on an all year round or term time plus at least 10 days basis (negotiable).

 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Senior Examinations Officer to be responsible for all aspects of examination administration, preparation of exam materials, data capture and the coordination of results across our very successful and popular Academy.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent communication ability and exceptional administrative and organisational skills. They will be driven by the desire to provide the best possible service for our students and staff and work to the highest personal and professional standards.

 

Excellent IT skills are essential and familiarity with SIMS would be an advantage.

 

It is expected that the post holder will be available to work during the August results period.

 

Previous experience of managing examinations in a busy secondary school environment is highly desirable.

 

Responsibilities will include:-

 

Managing the Academy’s examinations office and undertaking the associated administration of electronic examinations entry and registration of courses for internal and     external examinations.

Providing a focal point for examinations queries and information, liaising with staff, students and parents where necessary.

Ensuring that JCQ standards and requirements are understood and adhered to.
