We are seeking to appoint a new caretaker to look after our wonderful school, starting from 1st January 2019.

The successful candidate will:

  • Work under the direction and guidance of the Office Manager
  • Support with the security of the site
  • Provide a supplementary cleaning and general maintenance service of buildings and external areas
  • Liaise with contractors

The successful applicant will need to be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills and good understanding of health and safety requirements.

Although previous experience of working in a school would be advantageous, it is not essential.

Downsview Community Primary School is an open, inclusive and welcoming school set in a semi-rural location in Swanley. We are a one form entry school with classes from Reception to Year 6. We are fortunate to be set in extensive grounds with lots of opportunities for outdoor learning and recreation.

We aim to provide the pupils in our care with learning, experiences and memories that will last a lifetime. Pupil and staff well-being is an ever-present priority for us.
