Would an opportunity to teach small groups of pupil premium students helping raise their levels of attainment be of interest? 

Fixed term Contract until Easter 2018, Part Time (0.4 FTE over two days per week) Intervention Teacher position starting ASAP at a pay grade of between MPS1-MPS6 (to be discussed prior to apointment)

This vacancy is designed for a bright and experienced Teacher who can motivate and inspire the children in their groups. The school wants to meet applicants who have the confidence and adaptability to fully integrate themselves into the school and rapidly build a detailed understanding of their new role. 

As an intervention Teacher, your role will involve you teaching small groups of pupil premium students. You will be using some of the school’s excellent resources to help raise attainment within low-ability children, helping to raise standards across the whole school. 


Information about the school

Crockenhill Primary School is a community primary school for children aged between 4 and 11 years, occupying an attractive site, at the heart of the village of Crockenhill. We are a one form entry school, with capacity for up to 210 pupils. The school is close to the town of Swanley and boasts excellent road and rail links to London and Kent. Our buildings run seamlessly from Victorian to new build and the classrooms are bright and welcoming. We have a dedicated art room, computer suite and library and several breakout spaces for small group work. The school also has a small wildlife garden and large playing field with an area dedicated to our forest school. The school is very proud of its sporting achievements and actively engages in many tournaments.
