We are the founding school of a trust, The Primary First Trust, which currently consists of eight primary schools in Medway, Kent and Bexley.  This gives us a wide support network and allows our staff to grow professionally and our children to achieve excellence.

The Administration Support Officer will join this dynamic team, providing a strong level of administrative support at the Barnehurst Federation. The position requires excellent, all round, administrative skills including attention to detail and forward planning. Being able to manage many different tasks while retaining complete confidentiality and discretion is essential.

We are ideally seeking someone who has: 

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good standard of ICT skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Ability to solve problems on a day to day basis
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and to act on own initiative
  • Ability to cope with conflicting demands, deadlines and interruptions
  • Empathy with children and young people
  • Willingness to be flexible
