The High Weald Academy

Our vision is simple – to ensure that all of our students achieve beyond our expectations and flourish as confident learners with the highest aspirations, ready for the university or careers of their choice and also ready for the world in which they will work and live. We are relentless in our pursuit of the very best for all our students.

We are looking for a talented and dedicated teacher to join our teaching team. In 2019 we will be moving in to our state of the art new building which means that you will have the chance to establish the highest expectations and standards in a brand new and purpose built learning environment. The length of your experience as a teacher is less important to us than your ability to motivate and inspire. Our new colleague will have an unstinting belief that every young person, whatever their starting point can make and sustain exceptional progress and that our purpose is to change lives.

We are excited to receive applications from newly qualified teachers ready to start a brilliant new career with us just as much as more experienced colleagues looking for their next step. Our aspiration is to develop our curriculum to include Spanish and so we would love to meet a talented linguist who can help us do this as well as teach GCSE French.

High Weald is a small, non-selective co-educational academy that serves the communities of Cranbrook, Staplehurst and the surrounding areas, where every student on roll is supported and challenged to reach their own personal excellence.
