SENIOR MIDDAY SUPERVISOR VACANCY

We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to lead our Midday Supervisor team. This includes: supervising a team of Midday Supervisors during the mealtime period to ensure the well-being and safety of staff and pupils; organising rotas; leading team meetings; training new staff; and supporting the children with eating their food, coordinating play activities and supervising behaviour.

You will need to be a calm, responsible person with good communication skills and who enjoys being in the company of children. Experience of working with children and leading teams would be an advantage. A willingness to undertake relevant training is essential.

You will be expected to:

  • Lead, organise and monitor a team of staff
  • Organise rotas and timetables
  • Promote and supervise children’s play
  • Maintain order in the lunch hall and on the playground, anticipating and dealing with any problems
  • Attend to minor injuries
  • Set up and put away lunch tables and benches

The successful applicant will be joining a team of dedicated staff who are committed to providing a safe and stimulating environment which nurtures the potential in everyone.

Kent Range 3: £3309 pa (pro rata for a full time salary of £15,628 pa).
