Are you passionate about music and looking for an opportunity to develop this passion in a school setting?  At Woodlands Primary School we believe in the importance of a strong music education for all children.  We are therefore seeking to appoint a part-time music teacher, starting in September 2018, to work 1.5 days per week (Tuesday afternoon and all day Wednesday) teaching class music to children from KS1 and KS2.  You should be a confident singer preferably with keyboard skills but not essential. You would be working alongside another experienced music teacher and developing the music curriculum across the school.  Salary dependant on qualifications.  Applications are invited from teachers and appropriately qualified music specialists. 

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed.

We are committed to the safeguarding of children. The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check. 

 

Information about the school

Woodlands Primary School was formed in September 2016 following the amalgamation of Woodlands Infant and Woodlands Junior Schools. We are a successful and happy school in North Tonbridge. Currently we have approximately 600 pupils on roll, organised into three classes per year group across three buildings: Saplings (EYFS), Acorn (KS1) and Oak (KS2). Our enthusiastic and dedicated staff work strongly together to provide exciting learning experiences for the children both inside and outside the classroom.
