SCHOOL COUNSELLOR

Salary: KR7 £5,828 p.a.  (pro rata for a full time salary of £21,790)

Hours: Term time only. 12 hours per week. 8.30am to 1.30pm (two mornings plus lunch times) per week plus 2 hours administration time.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced children's counsellor to join our large and vibrant staff team from September 2018.   Working as part of our Inclusion Team you will provide 1:1 therapeutic support to children from the ages of 4 to 11.  A designated space is provided which is fully resourced.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience of working therapeutically with children preferably using a play or arts based approach.  They will have a relevant counselling or psychotherapeutic qualification and will be a member of a professionally accredited body (BACP/UKCP).

The position is part-time and will be for two mornings per week with an additional lunch-time role seeing pupils who self-refer for 'TalkTime'.  Additional time will be paid for administration and the cost of supervision will also be covered.
