Experienced KS2 teacher

 The Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher who is able to fully support the aims and ethos of our wonderful Catholic school. We are a strong community with fantastic children, generous and friendly staff and supportive parents and governors.

Information about the school

St John’s is a four-form entry primary academy located in Gravesend, serving the Parish of St John the Evangelist and the local area. It is part of the Kent Catholic Schools Partnership (KCSP), a multi-academy trust established by the Archdiocese of Southwark for Catholic education across Kent which currently comprises of 26 academies (21 primary and 5 secondary).

St John’s is an inclusive academy. Its dedicated staff, helpers and governance committee members work hard to ensure that every student is supported and challenged to be their very best. Each individual is encouraged to grow spiritually and intellectually, so that unique and positive contributions can be made to society and the world. Our most recent denominational inspection in November 2022 and Ofsted inspection in November 2023 judged the academy to be ‘Good’.
