We are looking for a special person to teach our Year 1 class, to cover a maternity leave from May.  The position can either be full-time, or we may be able to offer part time (4 days per week) to the right candidate. This is a fantastic and rare opportunity to join our lovely, one form entry village school.  We offer a very friendly and supportive staff, great children, and parents who are keen to work with us for the benefit of their children.

We are looking for someone who is inspiring, caring, creative, and keen to get the very best from our children.  You will need to be highly aware of the learning that is going on in your classroom, and know what steps to take to ensure all children make good or better progress.  It is important that you are friendly yet professional, and able to build good relationships with staff, pupils and parents.  You will have high expectations of yourself and the children, and be committed to creating a learning environment where children feel safe and happy, and where learning progresses at a rapid pace.

We would very much encourage you to come and look round our school - please ring Mrs Michael, Office Manager, on 01474 822535, to arrange this.
